Welcome to the Website of The Cheshire & Manchester Women's County Football League

Season 2009-2010 looks as though it will be a very exciting season.

With lots more open age teams and under 18's teams.

The current proposals are that we have a ten team Division 1 the remaining teams making up two smaller Divisions (East & West) for Division 2.

The under 18's League is also looking as though we can have two small Divisions (East & West)

The East / West divide will help to reduce the amount of travelling around the County boundry.

The likelyhood at present is that each team will have three competitions. i.e. The League, A Divisional Cup and a Challenge Cup. The final details will be discussed at the Anual General Meeting.

The League is now part of the Women's Football Pyramid and is the first rung of the ladder leading to the North West Women's Regional Football League. The top team in Division 1 is elligible for promotion into the Regional League.

The new structure will hopefully retain more girls in football with the less experienced, younger teams being permitted another two seasons of development before the teams have to face the stronger squads of the existing women's open aged teams.

The League is also ideal for veterans, reserve teams and Clubs that want to give injured players some match experience at a lower and more sociable level.

The new structure of the League creates two Sections within Division two and a new
u18's Division.

The League Management would like to thank all the existing teams for completing the season and wish everyone every success for the new season.
